Elizabeth and four of her children provide guidance on helping grieving siblings.

Faith does not say, “I see this is good for me; therefore God must have sent it.”  Instead, faith declares, “God sent it, therefore it must be good for me.” -Phillips Brooks

Delia Grace

I am the mother of Delia Grace Abaray.  My beautiful angel went home to Heaven on January 24, 2016, at 9 weeks and 3 days old.  She is continually teaching me.  I believe God is giving me a voice, and I am sharing this site as a resource for parents, families, and health care providers.  You are not alone.

I have recently become a part of the Bereavement Committee at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN.  If you are a parent of a deceased child and would like help other grieving families, please contact me.

My family started Forever Our Angel Foundation to help grieving families like ours.  Click here to order our beautiful children’s book, Hugs for You, Kisses for You.  If you would like to request a FREE book for yourself or someone you love, click here.  If you would like to help us support grieving families, donate here.  We are a 501(c)(3) private foundation, and all donations are tax deductible.

“The great and sad mistake of many people … is to imagine that those whom death has taken leave us.  THEY REMAIN!  Where are they?  In darkness?  Oh, no!  It is we who are in darkness.  We do not see them, but they see us.  Their eyes, radiant with glory, are fixed upon our eyes full of tears.  … Though invisible to us, our dear dead are not absent. …

Death is for the good, a translation into light, into power, into love.”  – Unknown
