American Girl Party Giveaway

When I was pregnant with Delia Grace, I dreamed of taking her to the American Girl Store. I looked forward to sharing that with her, my first daughter. I don’t know why it was so important to me, but it was. I never got to take her there.

Sometime after she died, my husband took me to the Nashville American Girl Store to look around. It was very emotional. I hoped Delia Grace was with us that day, smiling from heaven, seeing the sweet things through my eyes.

My second daughter, Violet, turned four in January. She wanted an American Girl Party. Due to Covid-19, we had a small gathering at our house. There were a few hiccups, which seem to be a blessing at this point because they led me to want to share an American Girl Party with a deserving child.

In honor of my beautiful Delia Grace and my love for all things American Girl, we’re giving away an American Girl In-Store Birthday Party! A deserving child and four friends will be treated to a lovely birthday celebration at the American Girl Nashville Store. The recipient will also receive one doll (choice of Bitty Baby, Welliewisher, or American Girl) and a $20 Gift Card to pick out accessories on the day of the event.

If you know a child you’d like to nominate, please send a letter telling us why this child deserves a special American Girl* Party. Potential recipients could be: a child who has lost a sibling, a child who otherwise would not have an opportunity for an American Girl Party, a child who is fighting (or has overcome) an illness or struggle, a child who is very helpful at home or working hard in school, a child who serves a church or community, etc. All application letters must include a photo of the child and signed Photo Release Form. (You can choose to not have your child’s photo shared publicly.) Letters must be mailed by June 1, 2021. Recipient will be notified by June 15, 2021. (Party gift certificate expires 2/9/2022.)
